Title: [Fixed - 3.82] You notice a lavaret splashing in the water -- but it's ice
Post by: Plotinus on November 26, 2023, 09:00:21 PM
The ice is very thin, so I think it's okay. Perhaps it should say "You notice a lavaret swimming under the ice." And if the ice gets too thick then you shouldn't be able to notice spawning fish anymore.

Wow, these UnReal fish must surely have thick skulls if they can bump through ice like that. :o

If splashes don't fit the situation, then maybe a bubble graphic replacer would do.

Ah. This likely happened if the open water freezes again after the spawning has initially started.
It's fixed now, so that the spawning gets interrupted if the conditions at the spot turn unfavourable.

Fixed - persists in 3.82.
